HAZWOPER:Â
40 Hour Course-Classroom
This is a 5-day, 40-hour, OSHA compliant HAZWOPER classroom training session that meets the initial training requirements for the Federal OSHA HAZWOPER Standard.
The objectives of this course are to meet the Federal OSHA HAZWOPER training requirements of 29 CFR 1910.120(e)(3)(i) for general industry.
40 Hour Course-Online/Classroom Blended:
 The 24-hour online course is designed to meet the Federal OSHA HAZWOPER training requirements of 29 CFR 1910.120(e)(3)(ii) for general industry. Couple this with a 16-hour classroom instruction with hands on training to meet the Federal OSHA HAZWOPER training requirements of 29 CFR 1910.120(e)(3)(i) for general industry. This course is also intended to meet any HAZWOPER training requirements for the EPA and State OSHA regulations.
Who should attend this course:
General site workers (such as equipment operators, general laborers and supervisory personnel) engaged in hazardous substance removal or other activities which expose or potentially expose workers to hazardous substances and health hazards shall receive a minimum of 40 hours of instruction off the site, and a minimum of three days actual field experience under the direct supervision of a trained experienced supervisor.
