First Responder Operations
- First Responder Operations (FRO): This course trains first responders at the operational level to respond in a defensive manner to releases, or potential releases of hazardous substances as part of an initial response. This content focuses on tactics a responder can use to protect persons, the environment, and property from the effects of a hazardous materials release.
- 16 Hour Course.
- Cost: $300/Student
- First Responder Operations-Pro Board: Same training as FRO, includes the training and testing of job performance requirements (JPR’s) identified in the National Fire Protection Association’s (NFPA’s) professional qualification standard 1072.
- 32 Hour Course.
- Cost: $500/Student
- First Responder Operations-Decontamination: This course is designed to train First Responder Operations level personnel to perform technical decontamination during a response to a hazardous materials incident.
- 8 Hour Course.
- Cost: $200/Student
